Where do the bristles come from?

Our natural bristle toothbrushes are made using ethically sourced animal hair, and no animals are harmed in the making of these products.

Boar Bristles:
Sourced as a by-product of the meat industry. The hair used for our brushes would otherwise go to waste.

Horse Hair Bristles:
Collected through regular grooming. No harm comes to the animals during this process.

We choose these materials thoughtfully, prioritising sustainability and responsible use of natural resources.

What’s the difference between Boar & Horse Bristles?

Boar Bristles: Medium–firm, offering a more robust brushing feel.
Horse Hair Bristles: Medium–soft, gentler on gums and sensitive mouths.

Both bristle types naturally soften with use. This process can be sped up by running warm water over the bristles before brushing.
