Tagliatelle is a traditional type of pasta from the Emilia-Romagna and Marche regions of Italy. Individual pieces of tagliatelle are long, flat ribbons that are similar in shape to fettuccine and are typically about 6.5 to 10 mm wide
This long, ribbon-style pasta suits an elegant tasty dish with prawns and zucchini flowers, or if you prefer to follow tradition, enjoy Tagliatelle with a rich Bolognese sauce.
Made with premium A grade Australian durum wheat and farm fresh eggs, this egg pasta is smooth, rich with an excellent texture. Durum wheat contains folate, niacin, thiamine, vitamin B6, copper, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, selenium and zinc. Eggs are an excellent source of choline and selenium, good high quality protein, vitamin D, vitamin B12, phosphorus and riboflavin.
How Much? One standard serve of dried Tagliatelle is approximately 80-125g (depending on how hungry you are!)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to rolling boil and add salt to taste. Recommend 1L /100g pasta
2. Add pasta and stir occasionally. Cook for 10-12 min
3. Remove from heat, drain well and finish cooking in pan with desired sauce.
